RaiderVision
Portal.
Purpose-built operations software for a student broadcast network — replacing scattered spreadsheets and group chats with a unified platform for staffing, content, and team management.
Running a 50-person broadcast org on spreadsheets wasn't working.
RaiderVision operates six shows, a summer camp, live productions, and a full editorial pipeline — all with a rotating cast of student staff across multiple roles. Before the Portal, the org ran on a patchwork of Google Sheets, group chats, and disconnected platforms. Scheduling was manual. Assignment tracking was inconsistent. Nothing talked to anything else.
As the organization grew in scope, the friction got worse. Leads couldn't see who was covering what. Staff didn't have a clear place to submit work. Critical information lived in DMs. It wasn't a communication problem — it was an infrastructure problem.
- Staffing tracked manually in Google Sheets — easy to miss, hard to update
- Assignment submissions scattered across email, Docs, and group chats
- No centralized script tool — writers used separate Docs, editors had no visibility
- No way to track who had claimed which role for any given event
- Equipment and studio bookings managed through back-and-forth messages
- Team resources (passwords, docs, contacts) buried in different locations
- Announcements and SMS blasts done manually, no system for it
- Staff claim open roles on posted events — leads see coverage in real time
- Content assigned, drafted, reviewed, approved, and archived in one workflow
- Built-in script editor with teleprompter mode, accessible from any device
- Weekly overview dashboard gives leads a full picture at a glance
- Studio and equipment bookings managed through a structured booking system
- Team resources, passwords, and docs in one searchable, access-gated hub
- SMS blasts and forms sent directly from the platform to the full team
Not a template. Not a CMS. A purpose-built tool for this org.
The Portal combines everything a student media org needs to run week to week — scheduling, content, communications, and admin — into a single internal application. The closest analogy is Slack + Trello + a scheduling tool, rebuilt specifically for how RaiderVision actually operates.
Role-based access across four tiers.
Every feature is gated appropriately — staff see what they need, leads see everything.
The Portal isn't just internal.
A public-facing schedule board, public calendar, and shareable review links let people outside the org see upcoming productions and review submitted content — without needing an account. Designed for advisers, guests, and collaborators who need visibility without full access.
